Refund policy
I want you to be happy with what you buy here. Here's how returns work, honestly and without small print.
Ebooks and audiobooks
Refunds do not apply to digital products — ebooks and audiobooks, whether you buy them singly or as part of a bundle or boxed set. These are instant downloads, and they are final.
By buying a digital title you're asking for it to be delivered immediately, and you accept that once it has been delivered it can't be returned.
That's why I keep free books available — there's a free starter book in each of my genres, and samples on the product pages. Please use them to make sure a book suits you before you spend anything.
If something has actually gone wrong — the file won't open, the download link failed, you got the wrong book — that isn't a return, that's a mistake, and I'll fix it. Get in touch and I'll sort it out.
Paperbacks
If your book arrives damaged, or the wrong title turns up, tell me within 30 days and send a quick photo. I'll either replace it or refund you, whichever you'd prefer. You don't need to send the damaged copy back.
Outside that, I can't take returns on paperbacks that arrived in good condition. Every paperback here is printed specifically for your order — there's no warehouse shelf for it to go back onto, so a returned book simply becomes waste.
If you're in the UK or the European Union
Consumer law where you live gives you more than my policy above, and it takes precedence over it.
You have 14 days from receiving a physical order to cancel it, for any reason, without giving a justification. Tell me within those 14 days and you'll be refunded. The book needs to come back in the condition it reached you, and unless it arrived damaged or incorrect, return postage is yours to pay — please contact me first so I can tell you where to send it.
That right does not cover ebooks and audiobooks, because you've asked for immediate delivery and the file has already been sent to you.
Cancelling an order
Digital orders can't be cancelled, because they're delivered within minutes.
For paperbacks, get in touch as quickly as you can. If your book hasn't gone into production yet I'll cancel and refund it, less the payment processing fee my card processor keeps whether or not the sale completes. Once printing has started the order can't be stopped — that window is usually only a few hours, so don't sit on it.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. I'll process it within a few days of agreeing it, and your bank or card provider usually takes another few days to post it. If it's been more than two weeks since I told you a refund was on its way, chase me — something has gone wrong and I'd rather know.
How to reach me
Use the contact page and include your order number. I answer everything myself, usually within a couple of days.
If your problem is a download or a device, bookfunnel.com/help will get you sorted faster than I can — that's what they do all day.
